Bossier City Representative Mike Johnson is asking voters to support proposed constitutional amendment 4 this fall that gives a property tax exemption to surviving spouses of fallen first responders.

Tonight history will be made as Hillary Clinton will become the first woman to accept a presidential nomination from a major party. LSU professor Bob Mann says to the public, Clinton is often seen as emotionally closed down. But he says there is another personal, caring side to her that people usually don’t see.

Mann says it would be wise for Clinton to own up to her mistakes during her speech.

A Baton Rouge man has been arrested for posting threatening videos on YouTube. State Police Sgt Jared Sandifer says when detectives brought 22-year-old Anthony Moore in for an interview, he admitted to posting the videos.

Moore threatens both police and David Duke in his videos.
