The Saints are back on the practice field, looking to even up their record at 2-and-2. New Orleans is preparing to face Dallas in Sunday night game and Quarterback Drew Brees says he hopes last week’s win over Minnesota is the start of a long winning streak…:
CUT 19 (14) “focused on”
Statistically, the Saints offense ranks in the top ten in the NFL in several important categories like total offense and points scored, but has not been as explosive as it has been in previous seasons.

LSU coach Les Miles isn’t ready to give up on sophomore quarterback Anthony Jennings, but it certainly sounds like Brandon Harris’ two-touchdown performance on Saturday will net the freshman some additional playing time moving forward. Miles praised Harris’ performance during his spot on the Southeastern Conference coaches Teleconference Wednesday morning.

ULM has the opportunity to improve to 2-and-0 in the Sun Belt on Saturday when they host Troy at Malone Stadium. The Trojans are off to an 0-and-4 start and lost 66 to nothing against Georgia last week. But Warhawks Coach Todd Berry says Troy has had some tough breaks this season, but it’s still a quality football team…..:
CUT 17 (11) “very, very athletic”
The Warhawks are favorite by 13-and-half-points.

Speaking of ULM, Arkansas State officials announced Wednesday the Warhawks away game there will be broadcast on ESPN3.com. ULM and ASU will face off on October 4th in Jonesboro and kickoff is scheduled for 6pm.
