Baton Rouge Congressman Garret Graves says law enforcement will receive $650,000 in federal funding to defray some of the costs incurred when they responded to Sunday’s deadly attack. Graves says when you consider the amount of overtime that officers worked, total costs for the police could reach $3-5 million dollars.

Former state legislator and ex-Klansman David Duke has entered the US Senate race in Louisiana. Duke says his campaign principles haven’t changed as he’ll stand up for the rights of European Americans….

Louisiana Republican Party Chairman Roger Villere calls Duke a hate-filled fraud and the party will work to make sure he’s not elected.

A snowball stand operator has been arrested for inappropriate sexual behavior with his juvenile employees. Captain Gerald Sticker with the Mandeville Police Department says the owner of the Shiver Shack, 56-year-old Anthony Fortune, received sexual favors and in exchange he paid his victims cash and supplied them with drugs…
