Kenner Police today gave a chilling description of the murder of 21-year-old Taylor Friloux at Raising Cane’s. They said she had a total of 8 stab wounds including one to her aorta which is likely what ultimately lead to her death. The second suspect is identified as Mark Crocklen Jr. Both he and Joshua Every are charged with armed robbery and first degree murder.

An officer-involved shooting in Monroe left one suspect dead in the overnight hours. State Trooper Michael Reichardt says police responded to a domestic violence call just after midnight, but the suspect was not there when they arrived. He says Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Deputies found the suspect at another residence…:

He says the suspect ignored deputies commands to drop his weapon which is when the cops shot and killed him. An investigation is pending.

Shreveport Police say a 45-year-old unidentified woman involved in a train-car collision has died. They say Wednesday afternoon, 44-year-old Shane Ferguson of Shreveport, the victim and a 15-year-old were on their way to a funeral. Ferguson was driving and the conductor said even though he was sounding the engine’s horn, the car tried unsuccessfully to beat the train. Ferguson and the teen remain in University Health and are expected to recover.
