A crash in Iberville Parish claimed the life of a 9-year-old and injured several others. State Police Trooper Bryan Lee says 27-year-old Tommie Killough was trying to pass another vehicle in a no passing zone.

The Catahoula Parish Sheriff’s Office have arrested three people in connection to the murder of a Siciliy Island man shot to death in his front yard. 24-year-old Daquan Thomas and 31-year-old Perry Gibson have been charged with first degree murder in George Harris’ death. 30-year-old April Simmons has been charged with accessory after the fact of First degree murder.
