People on both sides of the abortion debate are voicing their concerns over the Supreme Court ruling that overturned a Texas law placing more restrictions on clinics…:

And today justices refused to hear similar appeals from Mississippi and Wisconsin.

State Police say a child is dead and 8 people are injured after a vehicle that was passing in a no passing zone crashed and flipped multiple in Iberville Parish. They say 9-year-old Asha Cooper was killed, and the driver, 27-year-old Tommie Killough of Livonia, faces multiple charges including negligent homicide.

With the rising heat comes the rising electricity bills this summer, but CLECO customers are getting a nice break. Spokeswoman Robbyn Cooper says because the PSC requested this benefit when they approved the Pineville based company’s sale, customers will see a $475 credit on their bill starting in July..:
