Attorney General Jeff Landry says he will look into the case of, Shcaquana Spears the Baton Rouge mother facing child cruelty charges for whipping her children after they were caught robbing a house.

Governor Edwards is pleased higher education will not face any cuts when the new fiscal year begins July 1st, which is good news for students

A Shreveport woman is wanted by authorities after false claims that a father molested his 5-month-old little girl. Lt. Bill Davis with the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office says 32-year-old Carrie Rivers was a babysitter for the infant and when her services were no longer needed she concocted the story to upset the child’s parents. He says Rivers facing multiple charges.
