Louisiana State Police announces they’ve arrested three people and seized more than a million files of child porn, which is the most in department history. The three men arrested have been identified as 51-year-old James Dalton Vail of Shreveport, 30-year-old Steven Paul Lucia of LaPlace and 35-year-old Nicholas Brodelon of Hessmer. Sergeant James Sandifer says if anyone has additional information on these three men, please come forward…

An arrest has been made in a fatal shooting that occurred in Hammond last night. Hammond Police spokesperson Lisa Lambert says 24-year-old Tremayne Sandifer was arrested in New Orleans today for the fatal shooting of 34-year-old William Davis. Lambert says Sandifer faces several charges…

Governor John Bel Edwards signed into law a measure that raises the age of adult prosecution to 18-year-olds. The legislation means 17-year-olds will go through the juvenile justice system for non-violent crimes starting July 1st, 2018. Supporters of the law say keeping 17-year-olds out of the adult court system, can help these offenders from getting in trouble again.
