A 15-year-old from Tangipahoa parish is facing two murder charges for his alleged participation in the double homicide in Natalbany last week. The Louisiana House has approved 220-million dollars in tax increases after approving numerous bills that are part of the governor’s package. But Governor John Bel Edwards says 600-million dollars is needed to avoid large cuts to health care, education and other areas of state government.
