Baton Rouge Police have arrested a teenager in the murder of East Feliciana Parish School Board member Broderick Brooks. Brooks was found dead from multiple gunshot wounds in his vehicle earlier this week. 19-year-old Jacquez Tremaine Griffin was charged with first-degree murder and Baton Rouge Police corporal L’Jean MckNeely says a motive is still not known…

Brooks’ murder has shocked those who knew him East Feliciana Parish.
The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for 12 parishes in central and southwest Louisiana until nine o’ clock tonight. Radar indicates a strong line of storms moving into the Bayou State from Texas. The cities of Lake Charles, Alexandria and Natchitoches are included in the watch box.
