Louisiana Tech has won six in a row and 15-of its last 17 heading into the start of a three-game series against Southern Miss. The Golden Eages are tied for first in the Conference USA standings and they are also the top hitting team in the league.

Southeastern Louisiana leads the Southland and they host UNO in Hammond for a weekend series.
