A Grand Isle man has been arrested on attempted rape charges for allegedly seeking to pay for a sexual encounter with a six year old girl. State Police Trooper Jesse LaGrange says more charges are expected against 30-year-old Wade Perkins who is a registered sex offender in Michigan…

Investigators from the U.S. Department of Agriculture are investigating operations at the Baton Rouge Zoo after 18 animals died at their facility over the last year.
