The Saints have reportedly released six-time Pro Bowl guard Jahri Evans. New Orleans selected Evans in the fourth round of the 2006 draft and he helped the Black and Gold win the Super Bowl in 2009. By releasing Evans, the Saints will reportedly save one-point-one million dollars against the salary cap.

With Super Bowl 50 in the books, the countdown to next season is on. NFL analyst Mike Detillier says for the Saints to get back into the playoffs, they improve one of the league’s worst defenses.
