The Rasmussen Survey polled 800 likely voters.

The lawsuit challenging the residency of Senator Mary Landrieu was dismissed by a judge in Baton Rouge Friday. The suit was filed by Covington Representative Paul Hollis who says Landrieu is not an inhabitant of this state and this is not an issue that should just go away…

Landrieu’s lawyers say their client IS a resident of Louisiana and if another lawsuit comes up challenging that, they will be ready to make that case.

Police in Sunset say their town was rocked by a rare murder Thursday evening. Chief Alexcie Guillory says the victim, 35-year-old Stefan Lemelle, and the suspect, 20-year-old Jed Guidroz, were involved in an altercation when the shooting took place…

Lemelle was pronounced dead at the scene. Guidroz turned himself in and is charged with second degree murder.
