A third Destrehan High School teacher is under arrest for allegedly having sex with one of her female students who was 16 when the relationship started. St. Charles Parish Sheriff Greg Champagne says 26-year-old Kimberly Naquin is charged with carnal knowledge of a juvenile and prohibited sexual conduct between educator and student. Two other Destrehan teachers have pending cases in Jefferson Parish. Champagne says these cases are bewildering…:

Walmart announced they will be closing 269 stores around the world, including 8 In Louisiana. LSU Marketing Professor Dan Rice says the company understands they need to start being wise about where they’re spending their money. Rice says 95% of the Walmart stores closing have another store within 10 miles in the US.
CUT 7 (09) “revenue”
The Louisiana High School Athletic Association has discovered that the public-private split in football shouldn’t have happened in 2013, because of the way the vote was conducted. LRN Sports Director and LHSAA Game of the Week announcer Jeff Palermo says the vote was done by school principals and not by the executive committee. The LHSAA only has a couple of weeks to come up with a plan before their annual convention. Palermo finds this announcement is surprising.
