The Army Corps of Engineers say they will be opening the Bonnet Carre spillway starting 10am Sunday to alleviate flood threats due to the rising Mississippi River. As far as the Morganza Spillway in Pointe Coupee Parish, Corps spokesperson Ricky Boyett says they are closely monitoring the river to see if it reaches the level required to open the flood gates…:

So many injures have been reported from hoverboard incidents that four state universities have banned the devices from campus.
