The Trump Administration has announced that 37-million dollars is heading to Louisiana to help increase the rural healthcare workforce. Up to 20-million dollars will connect colleges with rural healthcare providers, 13 million dollars will be used to recruit and retain physicians in rural areas and another five million dollars will be used to create healthcare career pathways.
