Governor Bobby Jindal held a Unified Command Group meeting to discuss response efforts to imminent flooding threats on the Mississippi and Red Rivers. Heavy rainfall over the past several weeks has raised concerns over the rising water levels in both rivers. Governor-elect John Bel Edwards was present to ensure his administration would be up to date in case flooding conditions persist after he’s sworn in on January 11th.
