Today marks 25 years since the September 11th terrorist attacks. 2,977 people were killed when 19 terrorists hijacked four planes; two of them were flown into the twin towers of the World Trade Center, one was flown into the Pentagon, and the other crashed in a remote field in Pennsylvania.

Investigators begin an extensive search today on 15 acres of land in West Feliciana Parish as they search for two missing women. Sheriff Brian Spillman says they are looking Madison Allen and Stephanie Hevia and both have been missing for over a year. Spillman says 43-year-old Thomas Morris is the prime suspect in their disappearance and he’s been arrested on a separate kidnapping charge…
