A tropical storm warning is now in effect in Cameron Parish. National Weather Service Meteorologist Donald Jones says it’s issued as a storm which is expected to become Tropical Storm Edouard has formed in the northern Gulf and is making its way to the Louisiana-Texas line.
As of ten this morning, the storm was packing maximum sustained winds of 35 miles an hour, just below the tropical storm threshold; and it’s expected to make landfall near the state line sometime tomorrow.
The family of a teenager who died earlier this month in the dilapidated Plaza Tower, located in the Central Business District of New Orleans, is planning to take legal action against the owners of the abandon building.
