Sad news as the legendary architect of LSU baseball—Stanley “Skip” Bertman has died. Bertman passed away early this morning at the Baton Rouge General with his daughters by his side. Beloved by his players and fans, the legendary Bertman won five national championships and seven Southeastern Conference titles during his 18 years leading the Tigers. Skip Bertman was 88 years old.
