Attorney General Liz Murrill says Louisiana will join Florida and Alabama in investigating Dr. Anthony Fauci. Loyola University Law Professor Dane Ciolino says Murrill is alleging that Fauci lied about things like the need for masks and lockdowns.

Ciolino says convicting Fauci on those allegations would be very difficult.

A suspect is in critical condition after being shot by a Livingston Parish deputy. It happened on I-55 in Tangipahoa Parish at the end of a chase that started in Livingston Parish. Livingston Parish Sheriff Jason Ard says the deputy gave chase after the suspect ran off.

Louisiana is in the final stages of a deal welcoming a SpaceX launch site to coastal Vermilion Parish. Kace Kieschnick reports.

DOTD begins rolling lane closures of the Mississippi River Bridge in Baton Rouge. This, as it begins inspections to determine whether the bridge is still structurally sound to carry 100-thousand vehicles per day. DOTD does this every other year. The brief lane closures will take place between six a-m and three p-m.
