NOLA-dot-com is reporting that the special prosecutor in the criminal case against Attorney General Liz Murrill has filed court papers to dismiss the 16-count indictment against her. This comes after New Orleans officials, including Mayor Helena Moreno, sent a letter to special prosecutor Laurie White asking her to drop the charges.
