In fact, as of this morning Bertha’s maximum sustained winds are already down to 50 miles per hour. Keim says the latest forecast track has it making landfall near Buras, in Plaquemines Parish, late this afternoon.
We’re told the New Orleans area will feel the effects of Bertha sometime tomorrow.
