Ingram rushed for 65-hundred yards and 52 touchdowns during his Saints career. He was the team’s all-time leading rusher, until Alvin Kamara surpassed his rushing total in 2024.

Armstead played nine seasons for the Saints and made the Pro Bowl three consecutive seasons from 2018 to 2020.

Former LSU pitcher Lloyd Peever has been elected to the College Baseball Hall of Fame. Peever was the National Player of the Year in 1992 as he went 14-0 with a 1.98 ERA.

LSU signee Braxton Beaty has withdrawn his name from the Major League Baseball Draft. The left-hander from Angleton, Texas will enroll at LSU for the Fall Semester. According to Perfect Game Texas, Beaty, has a fastball in the low 90s and has a wipeout slider.

Former LSU pitcher Gage Jump picked up his third major league win last night as the Athletics blanked the Angels five to nothing. Jump allowed just one hit over seven innings, walked three and struck out seven. In his four starts, he’s allowed just four earned runs and has not allowed a home run.

Former LSU standout Ryan Patterson is reportedly going to be hired as the new recruiting coordinator for the Ragin Cajuns. According to D1 Baseball, Patterson will also help with the offense,

Southeastern Louisiana needs a new softball coach as Rick Fremin has left Hammond to be the associate head coach at Texas. Fremin has led the Lions to three straight NCAA Tournament appearances.
