In Fisher, Louisiana a body that was discovered this morning in a burned out home is being ruled as a homicide, according to the Sabine Parish Sheriff’s Office. The victim’s identity has not been released, and authorites are on the hunt for the owner of the home, who is missing.

For the second month in a row, Louisiana’s jobless rate has grown, and payroll rates have slowed. The U.S. Labor Department reports that unemployment rates went from 4.9 percent to 5 percent in June, which is still well below the nation’s rate at 6.1 percent.
