Memorial Day weekend kicks off the summer travel season, and motorists aren’t going to see much relief at the pump. According to AAA, the current statewide average for a gallon of regular is back over $4. The overnight jump was 3 cents to 4.02 in Louisiana. That’s 33 cents higher than the same time last month.
