The Pelicans will introduce Jamahl Mosley as their new head coach at a noon press conference today. The LSU baseball team will play Oklahoma tonight in the fourth and final game of the day as the SEC Tournament gets underway in Hoover, Alabama. William Schmidt will start for LSU as the Tigers try to win five straight games in six days to make the NCAA Tournament.
Saints starting quarterback Tyler Shough has been impressed with first round pick and wide receiver Jordyn Tyson. Shough was asked what stood out about Tyson after he watched his game film from Arizona State.
Shough spoke at the team’s annual Hall of Fame golf tournament. General Manager Mickey Loomis also spoke and said they are still trying to see how Alvin Kamara will fit on the roster.
On-3 reports, U-T-S-A graduate transfer Austin Nunez has committed to the LSU men’s basketball team. In 22 games with the Roadrunners last season, Nunez averaged nearly ten points and three assists a game. Nunez has appeared in 84 college games, also playing at Arizona State and Ole Miss.
And it’s been announced that the LSU-Alabama softball super Regional series will begin Friday at 6 PM in Tuscaloosa.
