A manhunt is on for a man who investigators say shot and killed his mother and grandmother during an argument last night. St. Bernard Parish Sheriff James Pohlmann says 22-year-old Lee Collins the Third shot 75-year-old Mary Major and 55-year-old Trenelle Collins.

The two women died of their injuries at a hospital. Investigators say Collins drove off in a flatbed truck, and he likely fled into Mississippi last night.
A new AARP report finds that 900-thousand Louisianans are caregivers for adults, including older parents, spouses, neighbors and other loved ones. Director of Advocacy at AARP Louisiana, Andrew Muhl, says the Louisiana Legislature should do more to help these adults provide long-term care…

Muhl says 20-percent of long-term Medicaid dollars goes towards services so an individual can live at home, while 80-percent goes to nursing homes. He says AARP is advocating for that ratio to be more like 40-60.
New episodes of the travel series LA 64 premiere on Louisiana Public Broadcasting tonight at eight. As the name of the series suggests, LA64 will spotlight all 64 parishes over the course of five seasons, focusing on places less traveled. Executive Producer Linda Midgett says every parish has its own personality.
