The newest development in the U-S Senate race is that President Donald Trump has released a video message, encouraging voters to elect Congresswoman Julia Letlow as Louisiana’s next U-S Senator…

But Republican incumbent Bill Cassidy points out that Letlow voted against legislation that resulted in 13-billion dollars to improve infrastructure in Louisiana.

At the state capitol, the Louisiana Senate approves a bill that would allow for the Louisiana Wildlife Commission to establish rules and regulations for a recreational alligator hunting season. Franklin Senator Robert Allain is the author of the legislation and says the state’s alligator population exceeds three million and it’s a safety issue…

The measure heads to the House for more discussion. The L-W-C would open the alligator season to five-thousand hunters each, with a two-gator limit.
