LSU is heading to the Sweet 16 for a fifth consecutive season and they will play Duke on Friday in Sacramento. The Lady Tigers beat the Blue Devils by 16 points earlier this season.
The 25th ranked Ragin Cajuns baseball team will likely fall out of the rankings as U-L Lafayette was swept in San Marcos. Texas State beat the Cajuns 16 to 6 in seven innings yesterday.

Two weeks into SEC play, LSU is 2-and-4 and their team batting average is .277. That’s near the bottom in conference play. LSU had 19 hits during the three-game set against the Sooners and only five extra-base hits. The only two doubles they hit, came in Thursday’s series-opening win.
