McNeese State’s Matt Viator has finished third in voting for 2015 STATS FCS National Coach of the Year honors. Viator led the Cowboys to a perfect 10-0 regular season record. Portland State’s Bruce Barnum was named coach of the year.

LSU’s Ben Simmons has been SEC player of the week. Simmons had 43 points in a win over North Florida last week.
