The Lenten season is always a big one for Louisiana’s seafood industry, and the Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board says this year’s supply is plentiful. Using data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration from 2023, the group Consumer Affairs says Louisiana is the fourth worst state when it comes to fatal crashes. Spokeswoman Dayna Edens says millennials were behind the wheel of 41-percent of those deadly crashes.
