A recent survey on US Senators in Louisiana shows both David Vitter and Bill Cassidy have approval ratings just in the mid 40s. Vitter has announced that he will not seek re-election next year which will make Cassidy Louisiana’s senior senator. UL-Lafayette Political Science Professor Pearson Cross says this seriously damages Louisiana’s power in the Senate…:

After a dip in ratings, A&E announces that Duck Dynasty and the West Monroe Robertsons will be back for another season beginning in January. The website doesn’t give an exact date or preview videos, but simply says season 9 will premiere next month. Duck Dynasty Nielson ratings still indicate the show has a dedicated following with over 1 million viewers on average each week.

Richland Parish Congressman Ralph Abraham is back in Louisiana after spending his Thanksgiving holiday with American soldiers in Afghanistan. He feels President Obama should listen to his advisors on the ground in Afghanistan and keep 9800 troops in the country as it’s an effective way to combat terrorism….:
