Lane Kiffin’s top-rated 2026 transfer portal class got even stronger after receiving a commitment from the top edge rusher in the portal, Princewill Umanmielen (ooh-MAHN-me-ellen) of Ole Miss. Umanmielen had 45 tackles, including 13 tackles for loss, as well as nine sacks for the Rebels last season. Zack Nagy, the managing editor of LSUTigersOnSI.com, says Umanmielen is an impact player.

The Cajuns’ game at Old Dominion on Saturday has been postponed to Monday, February 16th at 4 p.m. due to an anticipated winter storm.
Saints rookie quarterback Tyler Shough was named as a finalist for the Associated Press Offensive Rookie of the Year award. Joining Shough as finalists are New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart, Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Emeka Egbuka (uh-MEH-kuh eh-BOO-kuh), New England Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson and Carolina Panthers receiver Tetairoa McMillan. Shough was 5-4 as the starter this season.
The ULM men’s basketball team was blown out by Marshall 115-60 today to drop to 3-17 on the season. The Warhawks are right back at it tomorrow at 11 a.m. against Appalachian State. The game was originally scheduled for Saturday, but was moved up due to winter weather concerns.
McNeese men’s basketball is moving Saturday’s game against the University of New Orleans up to 2:30 p.m. Tipoff was originally scheduled for 4 p.m.
Due to anticipated inclement weather, Grambling State men’s basketball is rescheduling its game against Mississippi Valley State on Saturday to Monday at 6:30 p.m. The Tigers’ game against Arkansas-Pine Bluff, originally scheduled for Monday, will now be on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
