Les Miles is still LSU’s football coach, despite all the talk the last two weeks that he would be fired at the end of the regular season. But Athletics Director Joe Alleva announced after Saturday’s win over Texas A&M that Miles will remain the Tigers coach. Miles was asked if there were any hard feelings over the speculation that he could lose his job….

Napleonville Senator Troy Brown is expected to appear in court today after he was arrested over the weekend and charged with domestic abuse battery. Brown has released a statement that says the incident occurred in New Orleans, but doesn’t remember the details of what transpired. Brown says he’s had issues with short term memory loss as a result of a car accident he was in 1991 and plans to consult a neurosurgeon to see if social alcohol consumption is affecting his cognitive functions.
