Today, Governor-Elect John Bel Edwards will be at the 2015 Bayou Classic in New Orleans. He will attend a number of events surrounding the game against Grambling State University and Southern University in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. Edwards will also be a part of the official coin toss at 4:05 p.m.
This weekened will be a wet one for north Louisiana as a cold front crosses the country. Davyon Hill, with the National Weather Service in Shreveport, says the rain will continute thoughout the day and won’t stop for the next fews days. He says parts of Claiborne, Webster, Bossier Caddo and DeSoto parishes could see anywhere between two to five inches of rain.

The Les Miles era could be coming to an end as the Tigers’ head coach might be making his final appearance in Tiger Stadium. Football analyst Mike Detillier says LSU will likely fire Miles after the game and hope Jimbo Fisher of Florida State will be the next head coach. He says Fisher is great a developing quarterbacks.
