An end of an era appears to be taking place at LSU as Les Miles could be coaching his last game in purple and gold. Jeff Palermo has the story…

Governor-elect John Bel Edwards will be at the 2015 Bayou Classic in New Orleans this weekend. Edwards will attend multiple events during the day and will also be involved in the coin toss at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, which takes place at 4:05 p.m. The Battle of the Bands takes place tonight at 6 p.m.

 

Christmas Tree Farmer Clark Gernon, owner of Shady Pond Tree Farm in Pearl River, says the trees are fine even after the dry summer, just not as tall as they typically would be. Gernon tells those searching for a Christmas tree to check the height of your display area before purchasing a Christmas tree, as well as, the width to ensure it fits in your home.

A wet weekend is in store for north Louisiana this weekend because of a cold front stretching across the country.  Davyon Hill, with the National Weather Service in Shreveport, says south Louisiana will be dry and mild this weekend. He says parts of Claiborne, Webster, Bossier Caddo and DeSoto parishes are expected to see anywhere from two to five inches of rain.
