Ole Miss running backs coach Kevin Smith was at the LSU football operations building on Sunday, which is a sign that he is likely to be the Tigers’ new running backs coach.
UL-Lafayette running backs Zylan Perry and Bill Davis are both expected to enter their names in the transfer portal. The two star backs combined to rush for 1,456 yards with 14 touchdowns on the ground for the Cajuns this season.
Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan posted a stellar performance in what could have been his last game in the Superdome yesterday in the 29-6 win over the Jets. After new head Southern football coach Marshall Faulk said that Kyle Caskey would be the team’s offensive coordinator, the Jaguars are now hiring Sacramento State’s Ken Merchant as the official offensive coordinator. Caskey reportedly turned down the job for a better opportunity.
