A new side hustle – and an escalation. President Trump appoints Governor Landry as special envoy to Greenland. In a social media post thanking Trump, Landry said, quote, “It’s an honor to serve you in this volunteer position to make Greenland a part of the U.S.” Denmark’s foreign minister calls Landry’s comments completely unacceptable.

Two weeks later, Georgia now knows its opponent in the Sugar Bowl, and it’s a familiar one – Ole Miss. The Rebels won their way to the game by beating Tulane Saturday, 41-10. Sugar Bowl CEO Jeff Hundley says Bulldogs and Rebels fans can take in some special Sugar Bowl events the day before the game.

The NFL team that plays its home games in the Superdome ended its home schedule on a high yesterday. The Saints beat the Jets, 29-6, for their third straight win. Late in the third quarter, the Saints took a 16-6 lead on a 23-yard touchdown pass from Tyler Shough to Chris Olave. Shough said that was the play that started to break the game open
