Lawyers for one of the two people accused in the 2012 death of a Bourbon Street stripper is asking for her trial to be moved. Attorneys for Margaret Sanchez say media coverage on the murder and dismemberment of 22-year-old Jaren Lockhart would corrupt jury selection for her upcoming trial. Sanchez is charged with second degree murder in connection to Lockhart’s death. Sanchez’s accomplice, Terry Speaks, was found guilty of second degree murder in June.

The American Automobile Association predicts we’ll see the most Thanksgiving holiday travelers this year since 2007. They estimate nearly 47 million Americans will travel 50 miles or more during the four-day weekend and more than 360,000 motorists will call Triple-A for roadside assistance. Spokesman Don Redman says the best way for motorists to avoid a break down is to check their vehicles before hitting the road…
