The LSU football players that have spoken to the media this week are in support of embattled head coach Les Miles, who could possibly be fired after Saturday’s game against Texas A-and-M. Wide receiver Malachi Dupre says Miles is one of the best coaches in college football…

Dupre says the rumors swirling about Miles’ future with the program have not been a distraction. Saturday’s game kicks off at 6:30PM and you can watch on the SEC Network.

The LSU men’s basketball team dropped their second game in a row yesterday losing to North Carolina State 83-72 in overtime. The Wolfpack defense held Ben Simmons to just four points in the contest. The Tigers return to the court Monday at Charleston.

There’s a lot up for grabs Saturday in Ruston as Louisiana Tech will battle Southern Miss in the regular season finale. The winner represents the West division in the Conference USA title game on December 5th. Tech Quarterback Jeff Driskel likes that the final game of the season has a lot on the line…

Both teams come into the contest with identical 8-3 records. The game starts at 11AM Saturday and can be seen on the Fox Sports Network.

Three Louisiana Tech football players have been named to the Reese’s Senior Bowl….Vernon Butler, Kenneth Dixon, and Jeff Driskel. It’s only the second time in school history that three Bulldogs have been selected for the Senior Bowl in a single year.

McNeese State’s Matt Viator has been named the Southland Conference Coach of the Year. Viator has guided the Cowboys to a perfect 10-0 overall record, 9-0 in the league. McNeese is a number four national seed in the FCS playoffs.
