The Saints find themselves in last place in the NFC South as they return from the bye week. Tampa Bay moved a full game ahead of New Orleans for third place in the division thanks to there 45-17 win over Philadelphia. Carolina moved to 10-0 on the year as Cam Newton threw five touchdown passes in a 44-16 win over Washington. The Saints home game against Carolina on December sixth has been flexed to 3:15 PM. This Sunday, the Saints visit the improving Houston Texans. It was announced today that Bryan Hoyer will start at quarterback for Houston as he’s done with the team’s concussion protocol.

The LSU men’s basketball team looks to improve its record to 4-and-0 as they take on Marquette at the Barclays Center in Brookyln. Center Elbert Robinson is expected to play after injuring his ankle in the win over South Alabama last Thursday. And the Tigers Ben Simmons has been named SEC Freshman of the Week. He averaged 22.5 points and 12.5 rebounds in wins over Kennesaw State and South Alabama last week.
