The Saints enter their bye week on a high note after earning their second win of the season by beating the Carolina Panthers in Charlotte, 17-7. Coach Kellen Moore says this team has persevered amid adversity.
Tyler Shough completed 19 out of 27 passes for 282 yards and two TDS. Shough is the first Saints rookie QB since Dave Wilson in 1981 to win a game.

The LSU Tigers dropped their third straight on Saturday, falling to Alabama 20 to 9. Fifth year senior quarterback Garrett Nussmeier was benched in the third quarter, and Interim head coach Frank Wilson gave Michael Van Buren a chance…

LSU hosts Arkansas at 11:45 this Saturday. Wilson speaks again today and we’ll see if Nussmeier will remain the starter or if Van Buren gets another chance.
