Former LSU star and Patriots receiver Kayshon Bouttee had five catches for 93 yards and two touchdowns.

The LSU Tigers defeated South Carolina 20-10 on Saturday night. Sophomore tight end Trey’Dez Green had a big night as he caught eight passes for 119 yards and a touchdown.

ULM dropped to 3-3 overall, 1-1 in the Sun Belt after losing to Coastal Carolina 23-8 in rainy conditions in Conway, South Carolina. ULM struggled to do much offensively as most of its drives lasted just five plays or fewer. Coach Bryant Vincent is not happy with his team’s execution…

ULM returns home this Saturday to take on Troy.

The Cajuns lost 24-14 at James Madison. Quarterback Lunch Winfield, in his first start, threw for 243 yards, two TDs and one interception.  But the Cajuns only rushed for 45 yards. U-L hosts Southern Miss this Saturday.

Northwestern State is now 1-and-5 as the Demons lost to Houston Christian 20-17.

Southern and Grambling also both lost.
