The Louisiana Attorney General’s Office will be conducting an independent investigation into the State Police investigation of the crash they say was caused by LSU star receiver Kyren Lacy. Louisiana Democratic Party Executive Director Dadrius (“Darius”) Lanus says after viewing the video, it seems that Louisiana State Police investigators have some explaining to do.

State Police just released video showing Lacy’s car speeding and passing cars in a no passing zone. Body cam footage at the scene shows witnesses saying it was a green charger speeding toward a driver that caused her to hit another vehicle trying to avoid the charger.

An Iberville Parish deputy is fighting for his life and another deputy lost his life after they were shot while interviewing a suspect at the Iberville Courthouse Monday evening. Officials are calling for prayers for the family of Deputy Charles Riley who died and for the other deputy who is the son of Iberville Parish Sheriff, Brett Stassi. He is in critical condition in a Baton Rouge hospital. The shooter also died from a gunshot wound to the head.
