According to numbers from the Secretary of State’s office, the number of early votes for Saturday’s runoff elections was up 16 percent from the primary. Ed Cervenak, director of the UNO Survey Research Center, says based on those numbers, the electorate seems to favor Edwards…:

The latest JMC Analytics survey on the Louisiana gubernatorial race shows Democrat John Bel Edwards with 51% of the vote, Republican David Vitter with 35% and 13% still say they are undecided.The poll, which was conducted November 14th-16th, also shows Republican Billy Nungesser leading Democrat Kip Holden by 11 points in the Lt. Amid rumors to the contrary, New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton says defensive coordinator Rob Ryan has not been fired.
