Coach Brian Kelly has announced edge rusher Gabe Reliford will miss the rest of the season because of a torn rotator cuff. Running back Caden Durham is questionable with an ankle injury. Kick off in Oxford is at 2:30.
In high school football action, Acadiana won its first game of the season beating New Iberia 61-0, Oak Grove thumped Rayville 50 to 18, Ruston beat Midland-Legacy from Texas 49 to 21, Tioga over Richwood 54-30, and Captain-Shreve outscored Benton 59-48, Tonight…Neville at St Thomas More.
ULM looks to make it two wins in this Saturday when they host Arkansas State. Warhawks sophomore quarterback Aidan Armenta is starting to get more comfortable with the offense through each start. Armenta had one of his best games last week in win over UTEP, throwing for 136 yards and two touchdowns. Coach Bryant Vincent says it’s evident Armenta is getting more confident.
In other action, Louisiana Tech travels to UTEP. The Ragin Cajuns host Marshall in a rematch of last year’s Sun Belt title game. Southern takes on Jackson State in last year’s SWAC title game. Grambling is faces Prarie View A&M in Dallas. McNeese visits Stephen F Austin and Southeastern hosts UTRGV at 6 PM.
