Governor Bobby Jindal has signed an executive order which instructs state agencies to take all available steps to stop the relocation of Syrian refugees to Louisiana. State Police Col Mike Edmonson and GOHSEP director Kevin Davis are expected to meet this afternoon to address the executive order and Syrian refugees in Louisiana.

Saints coach Sean Payton said today that defensive coordinator Rob Ryan is currently with the team and that, as of right now, no staffing changes have been made. Payton says he plans to meet with the coaches and General Manager Mickey Loomis later today about any possible moves…:

The latest JMC Analytics survey on the Louisiana gubernatorial race shows Democrat John Bel Edwards with 51% of the vote, Republican David Vitter with 35% and 13% still say they are undecided. Pollster John Couvillion says the numbers have narrowed slightly from his last poll…:

The poll shows Republican Billy Nungesser leads Democrat Kip Holden by 11 points in the Lt. Governor’s race. In the Attorney General election, incumbent Buddy Caldwell polled just 25% to fellow GOP opponent Jeff Landry who came out with 46%.
