LSU football begins SEC play this weekend as it hosts Florida on Saturday. The Tigers had an underwhelming performance in its 23 to 7 win against Louisiana Tech. Head coach Brian Kelly says the performance falls on multiple people.
Kelly announced positive news regarding the health of center Braelin Moore and tight end Trey’Dez Green. Moore is listed as day-to-day with an ankle injury and Green will be questionable with a sprained MCL.

Saints starting safety Julian Blackmon seriously injured his labrum in the regular season opening loss versus the Arizona Cardinals. Blackmon is expected to miss significant time. Blackmon injured the same labrum with the Colts in 2024, which required surgery at the end of the season.
New Orleans right tackle Taliese (Tah-lee-ESS-ay) Fuaga went down in the third quarter versus the Cardinals with a knee injury. Moore says he will be considered day-to-day
UL-Lafayette bounced back from an ugly two-point loss to Rice to beat McNeese 34 to 10. But the Cajuns threw for only 86 yards. Head coach Michael Desormeaux says the passing game will need to improve, especially as it travels to Columbia to face the No. 25 Missouri Tigers in a sold-out game.
